We are pleased to announce that the Capella Tower Health Club is open for use. This page provides communications and instructions on how Property Management, fitness staff, and tenants can work together to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Please read the following information before returning to the fitness center. We are looking forward to seeing you again!
Fitness Center Hours
The fitness center will remain open from 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
Capacity and Reservations
The Fitness Center is open to full capacity. Busiest times are morning (6:30-8am), midday (11:30-1pm) and evening (4:30-6pm) hours.
Masks are not required in the fitness center. If a member is unable to enter the facility for any reason, they are encouraged to utilize virtual fitness center offerings.
To prevent the spread of illness members are required to be in good health prior to entry into the fitness center.
Additionally, members will be encouraged to:
Read all of the policies listed here as well as all signs posted in the Fitness Center
Contact the Program Manager (Alyssa - firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions
Pre-plan their workout prior to entering the fitness center
Limit items touched in the facility to only the items needed
Wipe down all equipment before AND after use
Use weights that you can comfortably lift without use of a spotter
Members will not be permitted to:
Share equipment without cleaning between each use
Spot one another
Do circuit style workouts that require the use of more than one machine or piece of equipment at a time
"Work in" on a machine between sets of another member
Linger in the fitness center before/after their workout
Hand sanitizer will be provided to members upon entering and exiting the facility. Masks are available upon request.
To ensure all members are knowledgeable of all new fitness center policies, AdvantageHealth will communicate fitness center policies through member emails, social media, website, and posts throughout the fitness center.
Group Exercise Studio
We are hosting a wide variety of virtual group fitness classes for members to attend via Zoom. The group fitness studio may be used during In-person group fitness classes for those attending class. Our Fitness on Demand feature will also be accessible to members.
Cardio and Strength Equipment
We ask members to wipe down ALL equipment used before AND after use.
On-Site Amenities – Locker Rooms, Towels, Drinking Fountains
Towel service is available for use. Locker room access is available. Shared amenities such as hairdryers, lotion, and mouthwash amenities are allowed for use.
Personal Training Services
Members who wish to attend in person sessions with their Personal Trainer can request the personal trainer to wear a mask if so pleased. We will continue offering virtual options for the foreseeable future. Please contact Alyssa (email@example.com) if you’d like to learn more.
Fitness Staff Requirements
Staff will be required to wash hands frequently throughout the day per CDC guidelines. To ensure safety compliance, staff were required to attend a COVID-19 training prior to returning to the fitness center. AdvantageHealth staff members will abide by a specific COVID-19 policy in the event of becoming ill or coming into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Fitness Center Use for Outdoor Activities
Members may use the fitness center to change and do their workout outdoors.
Fitness Center Airflow
Property will continuously maximize fresh-air and eliminate air re-circulation.
During Fitness Center Hours
The fitness center will have daily cleaning from 12:00pm – 12:15pm and once daily after close to allow custodial staff to provide a thorough cleaning of fitness equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Cleaning staff will work around the members & equipment being used during these times.
Outside Fitness Center Hours
The property completes an evening cleaning/sanitation of the fitness center, locker rooms, and common areas.
Fitness and Wellness Programming
Fitness and wellness programming will be offered both virtually and in-person to accommodate both tenant employees that are in the office and still working from home. Programs will be modified so that challenges or activities can be accomplished in various settings and with multiple equipment options. AdvantageHealth will listen for member feedback on programming ideas, content, and execution to best accommodate the needs and safety of all members.
