ALYSSA LOKENSGARD
Program Manager, alokensgard@advantagehealth.com
Alyssa’s main focus is to help clients find the balance between resistance training programs and endurance training programs. While focusing on the cardio endurance programs she is excited to incorporate strength training to keep you strong, healthy and happy! In addition, she will layer in exercises that target balance, flexibility and toning, to engage mental awareness of the client's body and mind. She plans to continue to follow her passion for changing lives by properly guiding clients through their exercise goals with proper technique.
“I have a desire to help others achieve their short term, long term and above all, life goals! I am inspired to coach others after being an athlete for most my life and have a passion for keeping families united through health and fitness.”
Alyssa discovered personal training while in college as a DIII swimmer and competed in the DIII National Tournament in Indianapolis in 2018. During many hours with her head underwater, she had plenty of time to creatively think how she could best help others get that “all around strength and endurance training program” into their routine. She coaches free weight strength classes & cardio based classes with a focus on a tough push at the end!
“My simple pleasures include, coffee, shopping, dancing and the outdoors. I enjoy going to my cabin up north, water and snow skiing, hanging out with close friends and of course holidays with my family.”
